Internship Opportunities

Why should I participate in an internship?

Internships are a great way to get hands-on experience, as well as focus on specific skill sets needed for a certain job industry. Through the course of an internship, a student will gain valuable experience, along with specific skills and knowledge.

Employers assess the skills and abilities of prospective employees by evaluating their previous work experience in related fields. Internships are not only learning opportunities, but they also help students build a strong résumé. A strong résumé goes a long way in a highly competitive job market.

How do I obtain an internship?

Bluefield College offers a number of internship possibilities. If you would like to pursue an internship, please contact our Career Services Director. If you are interested in a particular internship that is not listed, please let us know. We may be able to arrange one for you.
