The Rampage Goes Digital

by | Sep 26, 2018

BU’s student newspaper, the Rampage, is making the move to an online platform this Friday, September 28.

The new online version of the Rampage will be available at burampage.com at the end of the week. Articles will be posted throughout the semester and more accessible than when the paper was in print.

The Rampage website will include features such as old articles and issues and the ability to share individual articles on social media platforms such as Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram.

Student editor, Emily Carlisle, who contributes to the paper by selecting and editing stories, as well as controlling the general tone and layout of the newspaper, says, “My goal is to get one article from the new website to be shared 1,000 times. I think that’s a really cool long term goal for us.”

The Rampage is a student-produced, student-oriented newspaper.

“We really want to focus on making something students will be interested in,” says Rampage Faculty Advisor, Chris Shoemaker.
