The 2024 edition of The Bluestone Review is now accepting submissions. The deadline is March 15, 2024.
The Bluestone Review, published annually, is a literary journal distributed by Bluefield University. It is accepting submissions from the community of Bluefield and surrounding areas, with a special call to students at Bluefield University. The Bluestone Review asks for poems, short stories, creative nonfiction, song lyrics, photographs, paintings, and drawings.
Prose submissions to The Bluestone Review must be no more than 750 words. No more than five submissions are accepted from one contributor. When you submit, please include your name, address, contact information, and one biographical sentence. This edition of The Bluestone Review will be available on the Bluefield University website later this year.
The Bluestone Review staff includes Bluefield University students Nathan LePere, Sydney Horton, Jenny Mitchell, and Jonathan Collier, advised by retired Bluefield University English professor Dr. Rob Merritt, the founder of the Review. Please email any questions or inquiries to [email protected].
