For nearly six decades, the Dome Gymnasium has been one of the most iconic spaces on the Bluefield University campus and one of the most prominent buildings in Bluefield. Since it first opened on January 1, 1968, the Dome has been the heart of Ram Athletics and student life, hosting unforgettable basketball games, thrilling rivalries, community events, and decades of memories.

Here, generations of Ram fans have gathered on game nights, cheering on the men’s and women’s basketball and volleyball teams as they battled at home, built strong winning records, and celebrated some of the program’s most exciting moments. Now, it’s time to renew this treasured space for current students and the next generation.
