Bluefield University Offers Full-Campus Tours for Local High School Students

by | Nov 19, 2024

Bluefield University rolled out the red carpet for Tazewell High School students on Tuesday, Nov. 19, showcasing the campus experience tailored just for them. From exploring classrooms and campus life to sampling treats at the café and enjoying lunch in the dining hall, the day offered students a glimpse of what life could be like at Bluefield. Each student also left with university swag to remember their visit.
The tour included introducing the university, a guided walk around campus, and one-on-one interactions with staff. Students learned about academic programs, student life, and financial aid resources, equipping them with valuable information about pursuing higher education.
“We hope events like this inspire students to think about their goals after high school,” said Dr. Steve Peterson, president of Bluefield University. “We’re grateful that local schools recognize the value of having Bluefield University in our community.”
Bluefield University invites other high schools and individuals to schedule a personalized campus tour. To plan your visit, call 1-800-872-0175 or email [email protected].
