Bluefield University hosted three commencement ceremonies to recognize its fall 2025, spring 2026, and summer 2026 graduates. Distinguished business leader, entrepreneur, and Chair of the Bluefield University Board of Trustees, Jack Reasor, served as the keynote speaker for all three ceremonies.
The Graduate Commencement on the evening of Friday, May 1, recognized students completing a master’s degree or graduate-level certificate. The class included 133 graduates representing 20 states and Puerto Rico, as well as the first student to complete the Master of Arts in Human Services program.
Lashunn Gardin from the Master of Arts in Biomedical Sciences program and Ali Glover from the Master of Business Administration program served as student speakers.

The Undergraduate Commencements on the morning and afternoon of Saturday, May 2, recognized students completing a bachelor’s degree or an associate degree. The class included 186 graduates representing 21 states, Puerto Rico, and Canada. Additionally, two students completed their degree after starting 18 years ago.
Ninety students graduated with honors, having achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.50 or above. Three graduates were members of the Honors Program, and 17 graduates were members of the Alpha Chi National College Honor Society.
The 10 a.m. ceremony recognized students graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree from the College of Arts and Letters, a Bachelor of Science degree from the School of Criminal Justice or the School of Education & Social Science, or an Associate of Science degree. Landon Breeden from the Bachelor of Arts in Christian Studies program served as the student speaker.

The 3 p.m. ceremony recognized students graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree from the Caudill School of Business, College of Arts and Letters, College of Science & Health Sciences, or School of Nursing. Brayden Surface from the Bachelor of Science in Biology program served as the student speaker.
