Overview

At Bluefield University, the Church Music concentration in our Bachelor of Arts in Music empowers you to pursue a meaningful vocation in music ministry, rooted in strong musical training and Christian faith. Applied Music
Applied music concentration students are challenged to develop their performance and teaching skills in piano. Most students are preparing for a performance career or one in higher education, so advanced courses provide a firm foundation for those career paths. Each student also presents two recitals, one as a junior and the second as a senior.

General Music
The general music concentration gives music majors the most flexibility in their degree plans. The concentration provides an excellent foundation with core classes required of all music majors. Students may pursue a career in the music business, musical theatre, or as a private music teacher.
