Bluefield College will host its annual cultural exchange program with Jiangsu Second Normal University in China, featuring lectures, presentations and discussions on Chinese history and culture for both BC students and the community.
The presentations will be led by visiting Chinese professor Liao Wenmeg, along with visiting Jiangsu students Mao Ran, Zhang Yu, and Wang Ke. The presentations will take place on Tuesdays at 7 p.m. in BC’s Lansdell Hall, room 101, January 30 through February 20.
“The Chinese Culture presentations will cover a diverse range of topics relating to mainland Chinese culture and society,” said Dr. Maria Zalduondo, BC’s director of Global Education. “The visiting students usually present on foods, music, theater, the arts, trends and general society.”
