Literary and art enthusiasts from Bluefield College and the surrounding area are encouraged to submit fiction, poetry, nonfiction, essays, song lyrics, photography, and artwork.
Submitters should include name, address, contact information, including e-mail, and one biographical sentence.
“I can’t wait to see all the amazing talent of my fellow students and the community, all put in one place,” said Carrie Smith, who serves as co-editor of the magazine with fellow student Heather Paisley.
All works must be submitted by Monday, March 12, 2012 to be eligible for publication. Contributors are strongly encouraged to submit their works via e-mail to [email protected]

When this, the 18th edition of The Bluestone Review, is published in April, the college will host a reception at which time contributors will have the opportunity to present their work and be recognized.
