Federal Student Aid (Sample Section – In Development)
The first step every student should take is completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Your eligibility for financial assistance is based on the outcome of the data you submit on your FAFSA. Pell-eligible students may receive up to $3,248 per semester. Based on income and need, students may be eligible for the following financial aid from these federal programs:
- Federal Pell Grants
- Federal Direct Loan Program
- Federal Direct PLUS Loan (for parents of dependent students, graduate or professional students)
Virginia students ineligible to file the FAFSA may complete the Virginia Alternative State Aid Application (VASAA) instead. Submitting this application may not qualify students for additional aid. Please contact our Admissions office with questions.
