The Bluefield College School of Nursing will host the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) from April 9-11, 2018 when the CCNE conducts its re-accreditation site visit for BC’s RN-to-BSN program. The site visit will also include an initial accreditation site visit for the School of Nursing’s Master of Arts in Nursing (MSN) and post-graduate advanced practice registered nurse (APRN) certificate programs.
In accordance with the CCNE’s procedures, the Commission provides the opportunity for program constituents and other interested parties to submit, in writing, third-party comments concerning a program’s qualifications for accreditation. Third-party comments regarding programs hosting spring 2018 evaluations must be received by CCNE no later than 21 days (March 19, 2018) prior to the first day of the on-site evaluation.
Third-party comments must relate to the CCNE Standards for Accreditation of Baccalaureate and Graduate Nursing Programs (2013). All third-party comments submitted to CCNE must be written in English, consistent with CCNE’s policy on Conduct of Business in English. Any and all comments submitted to CCNE in a language other than English will not be processed. Comments are shared only with the CCNE evaluation team appointed to review the noted nursing program. Your feedback is valued and appreciated.
Please submit comments to the CCNE at [email protected]. Or, if you prefer, mail comments to:
