The art show, entitled “Hidden Places: Oils and Watercolors by Chris Bone,” will be on exhibit inside the first floor of BC’s Lansdell Hall.
Bone, who is a part-time instructor of art at Bluefield College in addition to her professional art endeavors, will be showing paintings with intimate scenes of trees, running water, and old buildings. Her show at BC is part of the Virginia Arts Commission’s “Minds Wide Open: Virginia Celebrates Women in the Arts.”
As part of her participation in the celebration, Bone, who holds a master’s degree in fine arts from Radford University, will also lead a watercolor workshop at Bluefield College, Saturday, March 20 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in BC’s Cox Visual Arts Center.
