Bluefield College’s women’s soccer program will host a Kickaroos Soccer Camp for kids ages 3-6, beginning Monday, September 12 in the grass field in front of the BC Dome Gymnasium.
A fundamental soccer camp for toddlers, Kickaroos will run 45 minutes, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:15 p.m. every Monday for six weeks, September 12 through October 17. The sessions will involve instruction in the basic skills of the game from coaches and players from both the women’s and men’s soccer teams at Bluefield College. Parent/guardian participation is required.
“Kickaroos will be a great experience for parents looking for their child’s first introduction to the beautiful game of soccer,” said Samantha Snow, head coach for women’s soccer. “Designed for parent-player participation, each 45-minute session will feature instruction in basic skills, agility and fun that will capture your child’s interest in the game.”
Players and parents will participate in a series of games, drills and activities designed to give first-timers an introduction to soccer and the soccer ball. All children will receive a medal at the conclusion of the camp.
