Recognizing the increasing cost of achieving a college education, Bluefield College offers a wide variety of scholarships, grants, loans, and work possibilities. Institutional scholarships are available only to full-time students. Use our Financial Aid Early Estimator tool to see how much financial aid award you might recieve. Entering students who wish to be considered for all types of financial aid including Federal Programs, State Programs, and Institutional Grants and Scholarships should complete the following requirements no later than March 15 prior to entrance into the Fall Semester:

1.   Apply and be accepted for admission to Bluefield College. 

2. Complete the Free Application for Federal
Student Aid
(FAFSA). The FAFSA is the core docume nt used to determine a student’s financial need. These applications may be obtained from the Bluefield College Financial Aid Office (800) 872-0175, your high school’s guidance office, or online at www.fafsa.gov. The Bluefield College Financial Aid Office uses this information to evaluate a student’s eligibility for federal student aid.  

3. If you are a Virginia resident, complete and return to the Bluefield College Financial Aid Office the Virginia Tuition Assistance Grant Application (TAG). This is a state award granted to full-time students who are Virginia residents. Your application must be received in our office on or before July 31.
