The power of

LAW
to achieve
    JUSTICE©

The academically demanding Forensic Science major combines the coursework in criminal justice and the sciences needed to prepare students for careers & graduate programs in forensic science, or criminalistics, as it is sometimes called.

The forensic science major’s interdisciplinary nature will take you through courses in biology, chemistry, and physics, in addition to forensic science and a forensic science internship. In these courses you will be exposed to techniques in analysis of DNA, hair, fibers, fingerprints, and a wealth of other critical forensic techniques.
Based on your individual interests, you will choose a faculty advisor from the biology, chemistry, or criminal justice faculty.
As a senior majoring in forensic science, you will enroll in the senior seminar course and research a forensic science topic of your own interest.

Forensic Science students must complete the general requirements, major requirements, and electives.
