Founding Nurse Administrator
Bluefield College is pleased to announce the development of the RN BSN program. Bluefield College is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Director and Division Chair of Nursing. The individual will be responsible for planning, implementation, and evaluation of the program. The Director will report to Dr. Robert Shippey, Vice President for Academic Affairs. The position requires a teaching load of three credit hours per year for the first two years.
 
The college is seeking nominations and applications for the position of Director and Division Chair of Nursing. The college seeks a visionary nurse leader with a commitment to excellence in administration, teaching, and scholarship. Candidates must have an earned doctorate in nursing or related field, and a master’s degree in nursing is required. The candidate must be eligible for RN licensure in Virginia. Desirable qualifications include success in baccalaureate nursing education, commitment to fostering interdisciplinary collaboration and rural health care delivery, and familiarity with CCNE national accreditation.
 
The individual must be a committed Christian and have ability to integrate faith and learning, ability to foster critical and creative thinking, ability to work cooperatively within the campus community to advance the mission of the college and demonstrated excellence in undergraduate teaching.

Online and Degree Completion  Adjunct Faculty
The College currently welcomes applications for adjunct instructors to teach Management & Leadership, Behavioral Science, Christian Studies, and Criminal Justice in its accelerated degree completion program. Classes are held online and at various locations throughout the state. Applicants must hold a Master’s degree including 18 graduate hours in the discipline taught.

CDL Driver/Chauffeur
Bluefield College, a Christ-centered private college, invites applications for the position of CDL Driver/Chauffeur. This will be a non-exempt part-time position, to drive the College’s 20+passenger mini-bus.  While a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, a CDL license is required with a passenger endorsement. A minimum of one-year of CDL driving experience is preferred.  Excellent customer service skills are required.  The position will require a flexible work schedule, including some overnight travel and significant evening travel The College is developing a pool of CDL Drivers/Chauffeurs in order to facilitate scheduling of such drivers throughout the year, with particularly heavy travel during the College’s sports seasons.
