ART 1033 Design Problems
Line, color, texture, and form in a variety of methods and applications. One hour lecture, five hours studio per week. (Alternate Years)
ART 1413 Art Appreciation
An introductory study of visual arts principles, relationships between art and culture, and history of art. Three hours lecture per week. (Alternate Year)
ART 2013 Drawing II
Drawing from life. Emphasis on developing the ability to comprehend and record the human figure. One hour lecture and five studio hours per week. Prerequisite: Art 1013 or Instructor’s Permission. (Alternate Years)
ART 2043 Printmaking I
An introduction to the fundamentals of printmaking. Various printmaking processes will be explored. This class is an art elective class for the art major and meets the general education fine arts requirement. (Alternate Years)
ART 2053 Painting I
An introduction to painting. The student will paint directly from figures, still life, and landscapes. One hour lecture, seven hours studio per week. Prerequisite: ART 1013 or Instructor's Permission. (Alternate years)
