Phone: 276-326-4248 Campus Location: Harman Chapel Email: bmoxley@bluefield.edu Mr. Bryant Moxley has a Bachelor of Music with concentrations in Piano and Church Music from Ouachita Baptist University and a Master of Divinity in Church Music from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. Mr. Moxley teaches Internship in Church Music Administration, Worship Forms and Practices, Introduction to Church Music Administration, Music Theory courses, Applied Piano, and directs Variations. Phone: 276-326-4258 Campus Location: Harman Chapel 108 Email: bhudson@bluefield.edu Dr. Barbara Hudson teaches private and class voice, Music History and Literature, and directs the Masterworks Chorale. She holds a Bachelor of Music Education in Choral Music from James Madison University, a Master of Music with concentration in Church Music and Vocal Pedagogy from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Doctor of Arts in Music with concentration in Vocal Pedagogy from University of Mississippi. She is also a certified teacher of the Alexander Technique. She holds a teaching certificate in the technique from The Alexander Alliance in Philadelphia, PA, and a teaching membership with Alexander Technique International. Dr. Hudson is a light lyric-coloratura soprano with performing experience in opera and music theatre, traditional and contemporary sacred music, music of living composers, community choral and oratorio venues, and as a faculty recitalist in many genres. In 2002, Dr. Necessary earned Concord's Joseph Friedl Award as the university's outstanding faculty member. Prior to his stint at CU, he taught music at public schools in Duplin County, North Carolina and Tazewell County, Virginia. |
