For licensure to teach in grades PREK-6, the student must complete the bachelor of science degree with a major in Interdisciplinary Studies (IDS). This major requires a concentration in English, History and Social Science, Mathematics, and Science. The program is designed to align with the competencies in the Virginia Standards of Learning.
