Art and Graphic CommunicationsFor the bachelor's degree in Art and Graphic Communications, a student must complete the general requirements, major requirements, and electives. Teacher Licensure is available in Pre-K-12 art. No minor is required in this area although students may elect to pursue a minor if they so desire. Music The Music curriculum is designed to train performers, music educators, and church musicians, and to help all students gain a better understanding of and appreciation for a variety of musical expressions. The Music department offers the B.A. degree in Applied Music, General Music (with or without Teacher Licensure), and Church Music. Minors in music are also available. Theatre The Theatre department offers students the opportunity to pursue a career in the theatre and be involved in on-campus productions. A student may major in either of Bluefield College’s newest majors, Theatre or Christian Drama. The Theatre minor may be pursued by students by completing 18 credits hours of Theatre courses per campus registrar guidelines. |
