Mily Lusk accepted the part-time position of executive director of the New Opportunity School for Women after serving on the advisory board for three years. She is a native of Shelby, North Carolina and wife of head football coach, Dewey Lusk. Ms. Lusk, who received her Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Advertising from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, is a recognized expert in media arts and communication. She is the owner of innovations, an advertising/marketing firm that specializes in the development of advertising, marketing and public relations campaigns. Ms. Lusk is no stranger to the educational environment. She has created and placed the advertising for various educational and community institutions and served as an adjunct professor at Emory & Henry College. She was previously the Director of Marketing/Advertising at Gardner Webb University in Boiling Springs, North Carolina
