Jeremy Howell, DHA, FACHE is a board-certified healthcare administrator with over 20 years of healthcare and academic leadership and experience. He retired from the United States Navy in the summer of 2018 after 20 years of honorable and faithful service. He has served as adjunct faculty at several institutions of higher learning over the past several years teaching a variety of healthcare management related courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels.

Dr. Howell’s military career has taken him and his family all over the world. After enlisting in the Navy in July 1998 from the great state of Alaska, he completed Naval Hospital Corps School in Great Lakes, Illinois. Dr. Howell was commissioned as a healthcare care administrator in the Navy’s Medical Service Corps in 2008 after serving 10 years as a Hospital Corpsman and having served in a variety of roles to include director of human resources, associate director to the deputy surgeon general of the Navy, a medical intelligence officer, and a healthcare manager at a medical center. Dr. Howell is also a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Jeremy is married to Kacey, who is a real estate agent, and they have two children, Rylee and Brody.  The Howell Family enjoys spontaneous road trips, fishing and spending time on the beaches in North Carolina.
