Robert Wynn

Assistant Professor, Nursing; Coordinator of Clinical Practicums


Robert Wynn is an Assistant Professor of Nursing at Bluefield College in the MSN program since Spring 2017. He Served the United States as a member of the Navy and Honorably discharged. He earned an ASN and BSN degree from Bluefield State College, MSN from Radford University with a concentration in the Family Nurse Practitioner Program and DNP from West Virginia University. As a nurse practitioner, his clinical practice has focused in Internal medicine from 2004 thru 2005. His Focus turned to the Emergency Department where he has practiced since 2005, as a Registered Nurse, he also practiced in the Emergency Department from 1994 until obtaining his nurse practitioner certification. He has held multiple leadership positions throughout his career and is currently a member of the Team Health APC (Advanced Practice Clinician) Advisory Council which represents Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants nationwide. His motto is we are a team, as a team "we succeed or fail together".
