Pre-Health Professional

If your goal is to be a physician, dentist, optometrist, veterinarian, physical therapist, or pharmacist, the Pre-Health Professional track is the choice for you! We have the courses you need to get you on your way. Admission to professional schools does not depend on your undergraduate major, so you may find yourself majoring in biology, chemistry, exercise and sports science, or whatever! There are specific courses which are required by these professional schools and others which are recommended. We have designed the Pre-Health Professions concentration of the Biology Major with you in mind. This concentration directs you to the courses these professional schools look for in their candidates – anatomy and physiology, general and organic chemistry, physics, and more.
