Marketing Communication Concentration

This concentration is for students interested in marketing promotions including careers in advertising and public relations.

As a marketing communication student, you’ll engage in active, collaborative learning as you create promotional campaigns for a wide variety of for-profit and nonprofit organizations. You’ll learn about the ethical, legal, economic, historical, and social aspects of communication with experienced faculty in a highly supportive environment. You’ll utilize the latest software to design promotional materials in our Mac Lab. These hands-on projects, together with internships, will take you well beyond textbook-learning to help you sharpen the oral, written, and graphic skills that are necessary in creating highly effective business communication.
