Assistant/Associate Professor of Business/Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management


JOB SUMMARY: Bluefield College invites applications for an adjunct faculty position in entrepreneurship and small business management.

JOB DESCRIPTION: The individual will be responsible for teaching core entrepreneurship classes. Qualifications include an earned master’s in entrepreneurship and small business management or an appropriate discipline, doctorate preferred, business experience, excellence in undergraduate teaching, and commitment to student learning.

Bluefield College offers a Professional Certificate in Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management, an undergraduate degree in Business Administration with concentrations in accounting, information technology, management and web and mobile development. In addition, there may be opportunities to teach in a master’s level online MBA program. The successful candidate will have demonstrated Christian commitment and lifestyle, ability to integrate faith and learning, and ability to work cooperatively within the campus community to advance the mission of the College.

The individual must be a committed Christian who has the ability to integrate faith and learning, foster critical and creative thinking, and work cooperatively within the campus community to advance the mission of the College.
