The purpose of New Student Orientation is to introduce and welcome new students and their families to Bluefield College. The orientation process is offered prior to the upcoming fall semester to prepare new students for success at Bluefield College. All students are required to register for one of the orientation dates. Orientation programs provide students and parents with essential informational sessions and introduce concepts of college culture.
9:30 Registration (students and parents)

10:30am English and Math Placement Testing (students)
10:30am Checklist Time (parents)
12pm Lunch in Town (students and parents)
1:30pm Student Scheduling (students)
1:30pm Parent Orientation Program (parents)
2:30pm Reception for Families (students and parents)
Every Saturday, from 10/29/2011 to 11/05/2011, 10:00 AM - 1:00 PM
This is going to be fun....we are going to turn a square into a circle, back into a square and finally back into a circle!! Bring your sewing machine, rotary cutters, pinking sheers, pencil, threads, and fabric. Ages 12 and up. This Saturday class will meet twice.
Saturdays, Oct. 29 and Nov. 5, 10AM-1PM

Come make a coffee mug and enjoy some coffee...what a better way to spend a Saturday!!! This class will meet for 1 hour on 2 Saturdays, one for making the mug and one for glazing. Ages 15 and up. No registration fee is required for this class.
Saturdays, November 5 and November 12 from 1-2PM.
Tuition: $30 (includes the material fee).
