This is a beginner digital photography class for students age 14 to adults. We will cover composition, artistic factors that attracted our eyes, backgrounds, correct exposure and contrast. The class will utilize lots of photographic examples, with photography assignments that will help students become familiar with their camera. Point and shoot cameras do not have as many options as SLR’s controls which will be covered in the class, although point and shoot students are welcome. For those interested in landscapes, it is recommended, but not necessary to have a tripod and shutter cable release. The fourth class will be photography outing, scheduled at a time most convenient to the majority of students to work with Mr. Brainerd. Class size is limited to 10 students.
