Presidential Scholars Day

Event Details:
Bluefield’s top prospective students are invited to campus for Presidential Scholars Day to compete for two full-tuition scholarships. The criteria for the competition are:
3.75 cumulative high school GPA and
1100 SAT (Math and Critical Reading sections only) or 25 ACT
There are essay and interview components to the competition. Members of the College Leadership Team also join the Presidential Scholars and their families for lunch to celebrate each student’s individual achievements.
Students who qualify for the Presidential Scholarship competition receive a formal invitation and more detailed information in early January.
Schedule
9:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Check In, Hospitality Room Open.
10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Essays, Faculty Interviews.
11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Scholars Luncheon.
1:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. Essays, Faculty Interviews.
During periods of downtime, Town of Bluefield tours, campus tours and financial aid presentations will be offered. More details will be available upon arrival to campus.
