COORDINATOR: Burma McChesney,

This workshop will allow you to connect with nature and develop skills to quickly and accurately record nature observations through sketching, painting, and writing.  During the workshop we will take short walks to various locations on campus where we will study the magic of our surroundings by opening our senses, and recording them through sketching, painting, and writing.  You will

learn to mix a full range of nuanced color with just 8 pigments, and you will be given hands-on materials that will give you confidence in exploring nature.

We will share our work as we go, learning from each other, and weaving this into our journals. Students will need to bring their own journals, all other supplies will be provided.
