A therapeutic approach to emotional and mental release.  Art Therapy is the use of the creative arts to express and reflect on emotional states and is a therapeutic technique rooted in the idea that creative expression can foster healing and mental well-being.  It is an effective means to allow individuals to express things that are difficult to talk about.  It can help a person struggling with issues such as anxiety, anger management, stress, OCD, eating disorders, autism, dementia, depression, those that have suffered traumatic experiences and other mental or physical health concerns.  Students will need to bring their own 11” X 14” Canvases. The minimum number of students required to hold the class is 10.
