Department of Biology Overview
The Bluefield College Department of Biology provides a dynamic and engaging Christian learning environment. Students are trained directly by professors and immersed in a diverse, challenging curriculum. A major in Biology at Bluefield College is intellectually challenging, but it also provides knowledge of concepts, and sophisticated techniques necessary for advanced study or employment in a number of exciting fields. These fields include graduate school (biology, environmental science, environmental protection biomedical research, physical and occupational therapy, forensic science, etc.), professional schools (medical, veterinary, dental, etc.) teaching (licensure is available) and immediate employment in the workforce.
