General Information

Our Bookstore is open Monday through Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and offers class textbooks, supplies, art and graphic design supplies, snacks, greeting cards, gifts and a variety of college clothing for men, ladies, youth and infants.  Graduating students can get brochures for ordering custom made diploma frames, announcements and Balfour rings to commemorate their accomplishments.  Visa, MasterCard and Discover credit cards are accepted.  Telephone orders are welcome, shipping via U.S. Mail or UPS with a $5.00 minimum shipping fee.  Our direct number is 276-326-4260.  We welcome your email messages at or .

Mailbox Key Policy:

Students are required to have a campus mailbox.  Mailbox keys are obtained at the Bookstore during registration for a $15.00 fee.  Keys do not have to be returned until graduation, transfer or withdrawal.  A charge of $35.00 is assessed if you lose or fail to return your mailbox key.

Book Return Policy:

Absolutely no returns will be given on textbooks unless the cash register receipt accompanies the book.  Books can be returned for full purchase price during the first two weeks of fall and spring semester and one week for summer semester.  After that, three days from purchase date.  No refunds are made on special orders.  If purchase is made with a credit card, you must also present the credit card receipt to receive a refund.  Credit card sales will only be refunded by issuing credit to your account.   

Textbooks purchased in new condition cannot be returned if they are defaced (i.e., doodling and highlighting).  The publisher will not accept books with markings in them for any reason.  Books sold in shrink-wrap are not returnable if the shrink-wrap has been removed.  Again, the publisher will not allow such books to be returned, and those containing software are not returnable if the software packet seal has been broken.

Textbooks can be sold back during retail buy the week of final exams in May and December.
