Faith & Justice Scholars Program

 

The Faith & Justice Scholars Program at Bluefield College allows students, faculty, and staff to serve others as a form of Christian Ministry.  This Program is a significant step towards achieving the goal of creating a culture of mission involvement and service learning experiences at Bluefield College.  This program prepares innovative learners to impact the world.  The Faith & Justice Scholars Program at Bluefield College is important to the community life of the college allowing students to effectively engage in community service in a wide variety of locations and contexts as an expression of their Christian faith.

Goals

The Faith & Justice Scholars Program at Bluefield College operates under the following three goals:

  1. Allows students to serve others through Christian Ministry
  2. Allows students to share their faith by means of mission involvement
  3. Encourages students to encounter Christ, grow spiritually, and fulfill their life’s purpose (cf. http://www.bluefield.edu/faith/).
