Forensic Science – a Popular Choice at Bluefield College

While the Forensic Science major at Bluefield may be one of the newer ones, it is also becoming more and more popular. Whether you’re looking to work in the field or the lab, there is a place for you at Bluefield College!

Forensic ScienceBluefield College is one of the few schools in the state that offers Forensic Science as a specific major, so the concentrated education that our students receive is of the highest caliber in this field.

The Bluefield College Forensic Science program covers a wide array of classes. However, the majority of coursework in this program focus in on the areas of Chemistry, Biology, and Criminal Justice. Classes in these areas include: Genetics, Anatomy and Physiology, Biochemistry, and various classes in our Criminal Justice program which has been named one of the best in the state of Virginia.

Another great thing about Bluefield College is that your advisor will be a professor from your major. This means that before you are able to choose classes for the next semester, you will be meeting with a professor that you have on a weekly basis. You will also have the opportunity to talk to him or her about potential internships, jobs, or graduate school options.
