Peter Dryer is enterting his second full season as the Men's Soccer head coach at Bluefield College. Dryer came to Bluefield just before the fall season in 2010. In his first season, he led the Rams to a 4-14 overall record.

Dryer's second season will be much different than his first. Having been given a full year to begin his recruiting process, he and his staff are eager to begin a new chapter in men's soccer at BC. He has recruited 15 new players for the 2011 season including four transfers and 11 freshman, with several more coming into the program at the spring semester.

Before Bluefield, Dryer spent three seasons as the assistant coach for Geneva College, an NCAA Division III Institution in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania. During his time there, Dryer helped lead Geneva to a 39-16 regular season record, including a 15-4 mark this last season, and to three NCCAA Regional tournament appearances.

In addition, Dryer was also very active in coaching youth soccer. He served as the Director of Coaching for the Pittsburgh Strikers Soccer Club, a premier level soccer club, and coached multiple teams within the organization. He currently holds his NSCAA Advanced-National License and has worked with Step Ahead Soccer, First Touch Soccer Camps, Tornado Soccer Camps, Athletes in Action and On Goal Soccer Ministries.

His college career was played at Cedarville University, where he served as captain, and was voted to the NCCAA Midwest Region and the American Mid-East Conference (AMC) South Division Team. While at Cedarville, he led the Yellow Jackets to three NCCAA National Tournament appearances and a Top 25 NAIA National Ranking. Graduating from Cedarville in 2005 with a degree in Business Management, Dryer recently completed his master's degree in Higher Education at Geneva College.

Dryer has been married to wife Kristin for four years. She is a nurse practitioner who graduated with a master's degree from the University of Pittsburgh. They also have a boy, Cooper, who is almost one year old.

"I am very excited to be here at Bluefield College and coaching this team. I believe in the mission of the institution and am excited about the direction that it is going, and I am grateful for the opportunity to be a part of it."
