Seniors Caitlin Allen and Caleb Frye were selected by BC students as Homecoming Queen and King, respectively. Students also chose Joy David as Junior Princess, Sara Padgett as Sophomore Princess, and Whitney Browning as Freshman Princess.


Allen, the Homecoming Queen, is a senior elementary education major from Bluefield, West Virginia. The daughter of Chuck and Susan Allen, she is a member of the women’s tennis team, the Art Club, the Student Union Board, and Alpha Delta sorority. She also sings with the select student voice ensembles Variations and Praise Singers.


Frye, the Homecoming King, is a senior biology/pre-med major from Glade Spring, Virginia. The son of Dennis and Sissy Frye, he is a member of the Rams football team. In fact, he won the team’s Ram Effort Award for 2012-2013. Frye is also a member of BC’s Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA).


David, the Junior Princess, is an art major with a minor in history from Portsmouth, Virginia. The daughter of Douglas and Carla David, she is vice president of the Art Club, vice president of Alpha Delta sorority, and secretary for Greek Council. David is also a resident assistant for on-campus housing.


Padgett, the Sophomore Princess, is an art major from Hampton, Virginia. The daughter of Gary and Katy Padgett, she is vice president of the Student Government Association and a member of the Art Club and Alpha Delta sorority. Padgett is also a member of the women’s cross-country team.


Browning, the Freshman Princess, is a music major from Bluefield, West Virginia. The daughter of Scott and Pam Browning, she is a member of the women's soccer team, where she has already been named Mid-South Conference Player of the Week and BC Ram of the Month.


Other candidates for Homecoming Queen included Alandra Blume, a music major from Forest Hill, West Virginia; Amanda Heller, an elementary education major from Chesapeake, Virginia; and Danielle Preservati, a history major from Princeton, West Virginia.


Other candidates for Homecoming King included Bryce Laxton, a criminal justice major from Reston, Virginia; Morgan Lloyd, a history teacher education major from Gum Spring, Virginia; and Kenssy Quezada, a psychology major from New York, New York.


Other Junior Princess candidates included Mallory Campbell of Dunnsville, Virginia; Megan Campbell of Dunnsville, Virginia; and Jahlisa Harvey of Pompano Beach, Florida.


Other candidates for Sophomore Princess included Anna Davis of Haysi, Virginia; Jasmine Morrow of Woodbridge, Virginia; and Sierra Queen of Christiansburg Virginia.


Other Freshman Princess candidates included Hannah Mayo of Falls Mills, Virginia;Makenzie McGuire of Roanoke Virginia; and Whitney Smith of Farragut, Tennessee.
