Rob Wright Leads Rams on Senior Night February 19, 2011 | RSS Bluefield, VA—What better way to cap off the last home game of the regular season for the lone senior on the team Rob Wright than by leading the team in scoring and in assists. Rob Wright led the Rams in scoring and assists in the final regular season game of the season. Wright led the Rams in scoring with 25 points in route to the Rams victory against Montreat College 92-83 on Saturday. Wright didn't stop at just leading in scoring he had the game high in assists with four. Wright from Ft. Washington, Maryland also was 5-17 in the circle, 2-3 in three pointers, and was perfect in free throws with 13. Byron Carpenter, who has also had a spectacular season with the Rams scored 22 points and was 9-17 inside and 4-9 in free throws. Carpenter also captured the team leading 13 rebounds and added on one assist. Brian Daniels who has split time between JV and Varsity this season contributed 17 points for the Rams. Daniels was 6-12 inside, 3-6 in three pointers, and 2-5 in free throws. Daniels also added on four rebounds and two assists. Borgia M'bala contributed 14 points, he was 4-9 inside, 3-7 in three pointers, and 3-3 in free throws. Leading Montreat in scoring was Terrell Mosley who scored 23 points for Montreat. The Rams will enter the tournament as the number four seed, trailing behind the Rams were Tennessee Wesleyan, Virginia Intermont, and Montreat.
