Bluefield, VA-- The Bluefield College Rams led at the half 1-0, but eventually lost to conference rival Reinhardt University 3-2, on Saturday in a game that saw a combined 25 shots on goal by both schools. Jeff Field, goalie for Bluefield College had 18 saves and allowed three goals in his 90 minutes as goalie. The Rams had just four shots on goal with Timmy Michaels having scored both of the goals, and three of the shots on goals. Will Rittenhouse had the other shot. Michaels first goal came at the 39:50 mark and then again at the 78:45 mark. Reinhardt had 21 shots on goal with John Connolly having one of the goals and Steven Campbell having the other two. All three of Reinhardt's goals came in the second half of the game. The Rams play on the road against Mountain State, Union College, and Virginia Intermont before returning home on Saturday, October 7 to play Tennessee Wesleyan at 3:00 pm.
