Bluefield, VA—The Rams (4-4) lost against West Virginia Tech (2-5) in a rare week day afternoon game at EastRiver Soccer Complex with a final score of 4-1.
Bluefield's lone goal came from forward Chris Hughes marking the first collegiate goal for the Ram soccer player who is from Richmond, Virginia. Hughes also had two shots on goal. Nago Mbengue, saw 3 shots on goal, and Tyler Koerwitz added in one for the teams combined 6 shots on goal.
Jeff Field the senior goalie allowed four goals and recorded 5 saves in the game Thursday afternoon.
