Bluefield, VA-- The Bluefield College men's basketball team may not have won the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Tournament to qualify for the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) National Tournament, but the Rams are still vying for a championship title with the National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA).

Bluefield College will begin play in the NCCAA Mid-East Regional Tournament on Thursday, March 11. As the three seed in the five-team regional tournament, BC (16-15) will host Covenant College (3-21) of Georgia in the Dome at 6 p.m.

If the Rams win the Covenant match-up on Thursday, they advance to play King College (21-4) of Tennessee, Friday, March 12 at King, who holds the number one seed in the NCCAA Mid-East Region.

In other NCCAA Mid-East Regional play, Mid-Continent University (20-12) of Kentucky will host Tennessee Temple University (14-14) on Thursday. The winner of that game advances to play either Bluefield, Covenant or King for the NCCAA Mid-East Regional Championship, Saturday, March 13.
