MARS HILL, N.C. -- Bluefield College’s women’s soccer team fell 3-2 in non-conference action on Saturday to Mars Hill (N.C.), despite a pair of assists by Callan Camin.
Bluefield (2-2-0) jumped out to a 1-0 lead when Camin found Pip Pattison on a corner kick in the 24th minute.
Mars Hill responded with three straight goals to take a commanding 3-1 lead till Camin and Tori Doyle combined to find Ashley Moreno on the third corner of the game for Bluefield in the 69th minute.
Mars Hill held a 19-11 lead in shots and a slight 5-3 edge in corner kicks as the Rams drop to 2-2-0 on the season.
