Plucinski Signs with Men's Soccer Program

Bluefield, VA— On Saturday February 26, Matthew Plucinski signed a letter of intent to play soccer at Bluefield College. Plucinski comes from Newport News, Virginia, and currently attends Denbigh High School.

He is a four year letter winner at Denbigh and has been named Defensive Player of the Year for the Patriots. In addition to his talents as a defender, Plucinski brings skill and creativity in the attack for the Rams. He competes for the Virginia Rush Peninsula Swoosh club team as a forward, and has excellent skills on the ball and the ability to create and finish.
“I am very excited to have Matt join our program,” comments head coach Peter Dryer, “he is a versatile player and will bring some creative flair and a dynamic attack to our team. He is also very calm on the ball and reads the game well.”
In addition to his accomplishments on the field, Matt is involved in his church youth group, Skills USA, and Key Club. He is the son of Mary Beth and Edward Plucinski.
