Pattison Earns AAC Offensive Player of the Week By Sports Information Department BC | October 17, 2011 | RSS Bluefield College Athletics Bluefield, Virginia Sports Information Department Bluefield- Earlier today, the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) named their weekly all-conference awards for fall sports with Bluefield's Pip Pattison being named Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week. Over the past five games, Pattison has played several different roles/positions for head coach Snow's side including goalkeeper, midfield and forward. She has also played an instrumental role in the recent success of the program in three straight conference matches. Last week, the Lady Rams drew against AAC-member, Columbia. Also, last week, the Lady Rams traveled to Athens, Tenn. to play against Tennessee Wesleyan where BC was narrowly defeated 2-1. Four days later, on Saturday, Bluefield dominated Tennessee Temple 5-0 when Pattison earned 45 minutes of shutout time in the net. In the second half, she moved onto the field and tallied two goals and assist (5 points). She has the most points on the team with 13, including six goals and one assist.
