BLUEFIELD, Va. -- Jasmine Morrow was named to 2012 Mid-South Conference Volleyball Honorable Mention Team at the annual awards banquet held on the eve of the MSC Volleyball Championship in Louisville, Ky.
The 5-foot-8, freshman outside hitter from Woodbridge, Va., helped the Rams to a 16-22 overall record and a 4-10 conference mark, doubling the win totals from a year ago. She first in the MSC this season in kills (444) and kills per set (3.8). Her 444 kills ranked 35th in the nation and her 3.8 kills per set ranked 26th.
Morrow accounted for .346 percent (444-of-1280) kills in her first season for Bluefield College. She had at least 10 kills in 23 of her 35 appearances including a career high 29 against Midway on Oct. 27 that surpassed her previous high of 25 set on Sept. 21 against Virginia Intermont.
Morrow finished the season fourth in the MSC with 43 serving aces and her 116 digs ranked 15th.
A total of 14 women earned All Mid-South Conference First Team while another 14 women were named all-conference honorable mention as voted on by the conference coaches. Coaches were not allowed to vote for their own players.
