The Rams are led by Kearsten Marion who leads the teams with almost 17 points per game and senior Josh Nesbit who leads the team in rebounding with nearly eight a game and is second in points.
“The difference with our team this year compared to last year is that we match up well with other teams because last year we were undersized,” said the Rams starting forward Devin Page from Newport News, Va. The Rams have been on a difficult five-game road trip and faced The Pikeville University Bears, who are the No. 3 team in the country. Since the loss to Pikeville, the Rams have mounted a three-game win streak and won two key conference games against Lindsey Wilson College and Cumberland University.
Since then the Rams have been 1-3 and have two games remaining. “This is the best team we ever had at BC. This group is more mature and know what it takes every night to be successful,” head coach Richard Morgan said.
