Mader was congratulated by his future teammates at Bluefield College and is looking forward to continuing his education and soccer career at BC. A Yorktown, Virginia native, Mader plays in the midfield for the Virginia Legacy club team where they recently made it to the semi-finals of the Virginia State Cup. In addition, he has earned all-district honorable mention while playing for Tabb High School.
"Jacob has tremendous technical ability and is a very good possession player. He likes going forward in the attack, has great vision with the ball, and also serves dangerous balls in from the flank," comments second year head coach Peter Dryer. "We are looking forward to having Jacob at Bluefield College."
In addition to his work on the soccer field, Jacob is active in the Young Republican Club and the Technology Student Association. He is the son of Scott and Donna Mader.
