Local Writers Encouraged to Submit Works to Bluefield College Literary Magazine
Bluefield College is now accepting submissions for the 2010 edition of The Bluestone Review, a literary magazine published annually by BC students under the direction of Dr. Rob Merritt, professor of English.

The magazine, in its 19th year of publication, features literary contributions from BC faculty, staff, students and alumni, along with works from members of the surrounding community.
Works may include poetry, prose (fiction or non-fiction), artwork, photography, and song lyrics. All works of prose (fiction and non-fiction) cannot be more than 750 words. Limit five submissions per person.
Along with their works, contributors are asked to submit their name, address, contact information, and one biographical sentence about themselves. All works must be submitted by March 13, 2010 to be eligible for publication.
Contributors are strongly encouraged to submit their works via e-mail to . If you wish to have your work returned, please include a self-addressed stamped envelope.

When the 19th edition of The Bluestone Review is completed, the college will host a premiere performance of the magazine at which time contributors will have the opportunity to read, sing, or show their submissions.
