Bluefield College Online will host a series of summer information sessions on campus and throughout the region for the purpose of sharing the latest details about the school’s online degree and certification opportunities.

The sessions are designed to provide prospective students the opportunity to meet members of the Bluefield College Online Admissions staff and to learn more about the online programs offered at BC. The meetings will also provide details about financial aid opportunities and helpful tips on navigating the admissions process. In addition, counselors will share advice on how to make online programs work for students who need to balance studies with career and family.

“The information sessions are designed as open house events in which prospective students may come and go at a time that best fits their schedule,” said BC’s Sherelle Morgan, director of online admissions. “And, refreshments will be served.”

On the graduate level, BC Online offers a Master of Arts in Education (MAEd), a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN), a Master of Business Administration (MBA), and a Master of Arts in Biomedical Sciences, along with a Teachers of Chemistry graduate certification program.

“Our online programs are perfect for working adults,” said Brenda Workman, a BC regional partnership manager. “We encourage prospective students interested in any of our online graduate, undergraduate or certification programs to come to an info session just to see how convenient our online degree programs can be.”

In keeping with a liberal arts education, BC’s online curriculum emphasizes a broad array of perspectives. Classes are delivered in an online format with close contact with professors who genuinely care about the students in the virtual classroom. All faculty members possess a combination of academic credentials, practical experience in the field, and a commitment to the Christian heritage of the college.
