The Lady Rams dropped a crucial conference game against Reinhardt University, 63-59 on Saturday.

Bluefield, VA-- The Lady Rams dropped a crucial conference game against Reinhardt University, 63-59 on Saturday.

Coming off of the road loss against Montreat College on Thursday evening the Lady Rams continued their journey to Waleska, Georgia to take on Reinhardt University (10-12; 2-6) in a key conference match-up as the season winds down. The Lady Rams (7-15; 2-6) led in scoring as they went inside the locker room by two points.

Leading the Lady Rams in scoring was Takieya Rouse.Rouse who scored 12 points for the Lady Rams was 6-9 in the field, and 5-7 in free throws with three rebounds in the loss.

Assisting in scoring for the Lady Rams was Kia Gilliard who added on 9 points against Reinhardt, she was 4-10 in the field and 1-1 in free throws. Gilliard also added four rebounds, one assist, and five steals.

Megan Randall and Kiara Williams each added eight points a piece. Randall was 4-8 inside with three rebounds and one assist. Williams contributed four rebounds, two steals, and one block.

Reinhardt University had three players who scored double digits, Kinsley Galyon (16), Jordan Huett- Marsh (14), and Erin Courington (10).

The Lady Rams will return to action with a home conference game on February 2 against Milligan College at 5:30 pm in the Dome.
